Donna Gardier:
Home
OK. hear @ Nu Flava Online when we come across an urban British voice worth representin', we lay down the red carpet because after all, its where we be! Donna has opened the door for many of today's unknown indie artist's whom seek for a label like that of . As for Donna Gardier, when you hear her voice you will immediately recognise and appreciate that the sounds of inspirational music is ever progressing to the higher level. Not only has Donna Gardier shown on her debut project from Dome Records that she is capable of revealing where her true talents are rooted from but she also shows the ability of a true black sista whom proudly confesses throughtout her entire debut, she is not hear to preach to the choir but to deliver that which was stolen from among the masses. Home is a great debut project from Donna and with her voice that shines on to the brighter day, she has no doubt a very bright future ahead of her.

This brothaz project makez even the ladiez holla for more, and ya'll can take that any how ya'll want! Far gone are the dayz that major labelz thought thay owned talented artistz!!!

Heart of the matter: Vol 1
His voice is smoother than that of a silk tie and as admirable of that of a beautiful rose flower. Along with the smooth collections of smooth Jazz, Soul, R&B and more smooth Soul comes a man dedicated to singing about issues that many artists in his genre have somehow hidden for many years in this ever fast moving genre. Andrew Roachford is not an overnight success for ya'll who have yet to hear about him. In fact, he has become Columbia's biggest selling UK act for ten years, and all of his four albums, have reached Gold status in Britain, spawning a string of hit singles. Listen to Andrew Roachford's voice carefully and you will realise how much potencial and cabaility he has to be placed amoung the greats. Each track pin-points his vocal ability and also to reach the perfection of smooth harmony. Smoothness is a word in this entire project that you cannot help to mention because it contains all of that and much more. It's no coincidence that Roachford has been compared to the likes of Al Green and Donny Hathaway - hearing is believing! You dare not keep quite about this project once heard!

But, it takes one to really focuse and listen to the ministry that M.D.D has to offer to his audience. M.D.D is that quality artist at itz best performing anything from Hip-Hop, Funk, Urban, R'n'B and even Jazz.

On their mp3.com site (www.mp3.com/trinity4life), a summary clearly definez their entire project which statez. "You won't be sorry you listened" and Nu Flava Mag, found that to be 100% true. Trinity 4 Life are a group of R&B/Soul artistz that are yet to be known in their genre but however, we can assure ya'll that once these folkz are out, spittin' mainstream artistz will be havin' continuoz fitz! The project, from an Independent point of view is completely on point with perfect production and quality output that your hi-fi may not be able to handle! With 16 outstanding trackz, Trinity 4 Life leave their audience with great ex0pectationz in Hardship, Relationshipz, Love and much more. The project itself is a compilation and outlinez the quality vocalz that the group are able to express in which they continually did from track 10-16. Much is to be known about the group but we must say that, listenin' to their project clearly statez what th0eir purpose and goal is.

Production: 10/10 Chapter V Inasmuch there is a Gospel, there is room for Change and this is what these phat, hot, unique… call them what you want (if you can!) five men have displayed with their first nu project. Winans Phase II have spilt therez but these folkz have an image and mission that has already effected the secular face of urban soundz. Not even a month in its first release but, Chapter V have already been confused with the groupz; "Boyz II Men", Silk, 112, Dru Hill and 0many other top R'n'B groupz. Itz no suprise on tha real cause all you have to do to witness the uniqueness of these folkz is by buyin' the project itself. Don't forget ya'll, these folkz are representin' from an Independent Label meanin' that, the Mainstream Market is not at all where the talent of real artistz are found. In fact itz the total opposite ya'll! Chapter V is fo' sho' the future of Urban Independent artistz.

True Story It would do this project no justice to label it as a
gospel project as that would limit its purpose in many
ways. With the music industry constantly changing, it
will only take a few artists the passion, heart and of
course much more to survive the storm. Sean
Simmonds 2006 debut release for Alliant Music
Group, True Story is for sure a project
that will have a true story to tell for many years to
come. While the content remains strong, the production
is flawless and even at times having more calibre of
that of platinum production heard from major
labels.

The Appetizer Publicity wise, independent artists normally don’t match those on the major side. But when you have an independent artist writing, producing and duet artist constantly for high profile artist’s, publicity becomes your employee!
Eric Roberson is an artist that simply resides among the organic soul artist’s, with a purpose and mission to draw an audience longing for music they can relate to. The Appetizer, is his forth official project to date and the project title is self explanatory, even the first time listener will agree to this. Each track has its own nourishment, and each track should be digested accordingly without haste. This is a highly recommended project.

Rahbi:
The E.P. Rahbi, whom was a former band member of 4th Avenue, a group taken up by Laface Records had inked a deal at just the tender young age of 14, unfortunately without any official release. That of course, may have looked like a setback to some but this seemed to have set the path straight for greater things to come. This release is his official debut EP and displays that he does not only want his audience to know him for his singing performances but also for his song writing and vocal arrangements. Rahbi best showcases his light vocal talents on the opener Sistas & Brothas and Take U 2 A Dream. But in order for him to cut away from the rest and become the best, there is still much work to be done production wise.

MaskerAde:
Luv iz Crazi
We were quite confused on whether this release was a major or independent at first. This was because the production (on a few tracks) sounds like it was hired from one of the finest studios at Sony BMG. Anyway, Maskerade is an artist whom shares his music passion within the R&B, HipHip and Soul genre. Although, he seems to be attracting more model females on his myspace, his lyrics can at times sound seductive with similarities of Joe. Luv Iz Crazi is a rare album for the fact that, while albums have their ups and downs, this release remains consistent both with production and lyrics.
